Paoli & Geerhart, a partnership formed in 1998 by Tom Paoli and Chuck Geerhart, is dedicated to providing first rate quality representation to injured people and people whose civil rights have been violated.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM TOM PAOLI & CHUCK GEERHART
In 2007 we continued to get great results for our clients. We were so successful in reaching favorable settlements that we tried only one jury trial, a retrial of a case in which an additur/new trial was granted on the issue of future non-economic (pain and suffering) damages only.
We had multiple six and seven figure settlements, and we were happy to pay substantial referral fees to our colleagues who continue to show their confidence in our work. Among the notable cases we settled:

• Elevator malfunction sudden stop case
• Clergy abuse San Diego Diocese
• Medical malpractice misdiagnosis and paralysis
• San Francisco MUNI closing door fall
• Police excessive force civil rights

We also continued to dedicate significant time to doing pro bono volunteer work on behalf of the disadvantaged, and we participated in the Bar Association of San Francisco’s free Legal Advice and Referral Clinics and Early Settlement Program.
